Contemporary

Discover three contemporary New England artists who draw inspiration from the landscape around us. Radical Quiet: Contemporary Drawings of Nature by Victoria Elbroch, Nancy Friese, and Margot Glass is on view from August 5, 2026 through January 10, 2027.

Now on view, this new installation of works from the Currier collection explores how painters bring fresh energy to the enduring practice of representing the world around them.

Opening October 1, Pepe Mar: Dream House is more than an exhibition: it's a fantastical journey through influences and traditions.

Presented in conversation with Spray: Jules Olitski in the 1960s, this exhibition tells the story of Olitski's impact and influence in how four contemporary artists continue the tradition of abstraction.

See Olitski’s revolutionary Sprays alongside pastel drawings, a monumental aluminum sculpture, the artist’s original spray-painting equipment, and archival documents to experience the luminous experimentation of this modern master. On view March 5, 2026 through August 9, 2026.
