About the show: From landscapes to city scenes, a new installation of works from the Currier collection tells a story of American artists reinventing realism from the 1960s to 1980s.

What you'll see is the world around you, depicted with fresh energy, vision, and imagination.

What you'll experience is the nonstop pursuit of authenticity and truth.

Everyday life is the inspiration. Observation is the source material.

Keeping it Real: East Coast Paintings, 1960s–1980s is on view through August 2, 2026.
