About the exhibition

Faith and Fear tells a story of the images that guide our lives.

Drawing on the encyclopedic strengths of the Currier collection, Faith and Fear features more than 65 objects from the 1500s to the present. With a scope that spans centuries, belief systems, and political movements, the exhibition charts a search for meaning through the images we create and consume.

Faith and Fear: Images of Persuasion is on view from March 18 to September 12, 2027

Romare Bearden, Battle with Cicones, 1977
