Location: The Community Partners Gallery

The Currier's exhibition, Urban Landscapes: Manchester and the Modern American City, highlights the complex nature of modern cities like Manchester. In conjunction with this exhibition, the Currier brought together Inti Academy students and local photographer Becky Field for a collaborative project that provides a firsthand perspective on our city's rich cultural tapestry.

The Community Gallery is showcasing Becky Field’s portraits of more than one dozen of the students who are participating in the Currier Art Center/Inti outreach program. The partnership has been in place for several years and includes Inti students taking art classes at the Currier Art Center. This exhibition will include student-created art and personal essays. You can join us for a celebration of this collaboration as part of Currier After Hours on August 4 from 6-9 p.m.

This project was generously funded by Sheehan Phinney in honor of Kimon Zachos and the Currier's Heart of the Arts Gala Fund.
