Escher Super Saturday: Drama of Design

10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Escher Family Fun

Come explore inspiring design and architectural concepts in the special exhibition, M.C. Escher: Reality and Illusion. Hear a reading of Roberto, The Insect Architect by Nina Laden, build a bug house, or create three-dimensional shapes using straws and pipe cleaners. *Big Nazo, an out-of-this-world puppet group, will perform and SEE Science Center will also be here providing activities for all ages!

Free with general Museum admission.

$5 special exhibition charge to view M.C. Escher: Reality and Illusion

SCHEDULE:

10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

  • Art activity - Create a Bug House!

 10:45 a.m.

  • Reading of Roberto, The Insect Architect, by Nina Laden

11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

  • Performance by Big Nazo, *$5 for Non-Members; $3 for Members.

12- 2 p.m. 

  • SEE Science Center will be providing a hands-on activity

1 p.m.

  • Tour
