Art Center Camps: It's A Hoot!
Aug 18 - 22
Owls…..can they really turn their head around so far that they can see behind them? If you hear them screech or hoot during a storm, does it really mean that weather will soon change? Do they really have three eyelids? This week we’ll paint, sculpt and draw art with a “bird’s eye view” - focusing on our fine feathered friends of all kinds and the habitat in which they live. An educator with a “special friend” from the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center will join us and explain why they’re so important to our New Hampshire ecosystem. Camps are for children ages 5 to 12. Full day camp is available from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. (1st grade+) for $270 or Half Day camp is available from 9 a.m. to noon (K-1st) for $160. After camp care is available from 3-4:30 p.m. for an additional $30. Click here to register online or call 603.669.6144, x 122 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
