Our Fall and Winter programs include Art Foundations for Children aged 3 to 10, ArtVentures! for Preteens for students ages 11 to 15, and Art School for Teens and Adults for students ages 15 to adult. Classes in the Fall and Winter terms meet weekly for a total of ten weeks in each term. Our Saturday Workshops for Children, Teens, and Adults offer a range of one and two day intensives for students of all ages. Additionally, during the Winter term the Art Center runs a half and full day Vacation Art Camp for Kids! ages 5 to 14, and half day Art Intensives for Teens during the winter and spring school vacation holidays.
In the summer the Currier Museum Art Center offers the popular Summer Art Camp for Kids! for students ages 2 to 12, ArtVentures! for Preteens for students ages 12 to 15, and the Summer School for Teens and Adults for students ages 15 to adult. While most of our summer programming takes place at the Currier Museum Art Center, the Partners in Art program illustrates our commitment to creating innovative learning experiences with partnering cultural organizations in settings around our region.
The Currier Museum Art Center is committed to quality educational opportunities, therefore professional artists and art educators provide instruction for all of these courses with an emphasis on small classroom situations and personalized instruction.
